Synopsis: A 3 day program which brings professionals from creative sectors and entrepreneurs together for content creation

Challenge: Realizing that powerful and well-transmitted stories are able to move crowds, our aim was to bring together entrepreneurs who will start the process of crowdfunding and professionals from creative sectors like Software Developers, Graphic Designers, Video Producers and Photographers, Directors and Editors, Writers and Journalists, Brand Strategists and Advertisers, to help startups success their goals of crowdfunding by conveying a strong message. 

Transformation: We opened the doors of Impact Hub Istanbul to 33 creators, 5 startups for 3 full days to facilitate creative processes. after the creators and entrepreneurs were matched the teams that will work for 2.5 days together were constructed. all teams worked on that venture’s specific needs in order to help them indigenise and tell their stories most effectively. last day of the program ….. mentors reviewed the contents that were developed for each startup separately and gave feedbacks. at the end of the program entrepreneurs presented their businesses with the content that was developed through the program.

Impact: Onlock, produce innovative door locks with automation and remote control. They prepared a video for their advertising.  

Kitto is a kit for building 3D printers. At Creathon, Kitto’s team was pationate about creating a marketing strategy.

Coolin is a portable medicine cooler for diabetese. They made video to disrupt the misperception towards diabetese. 

Stationear improves social life of the hearing impaired by being their voice. During Creathon, they decided to use real life examples to show how communication on the phone for a hearing impaired people is important.

Arikovani is a crowd funding platform for products which are technological and innovative. During Creathon, Arikovani improved their story as a crowd funding platform.

Synopsis: The Ye! Boostcamp is an intensive 2.5 day program designed to assist impact driven early stage entrepreneurs in developing their business idea into successful businesses through hands-on training and mentoring. In total, 10 teams participated the program. 

Challenge: The goal of this program was to support and mobilize impact driven early stage entrepreneurs through educating them on the principles of starting a social enterprise, develop their enterprising ideas and create the atmosphere for them to collaborate with like-minded people on changemaking ideas in the mean time to raise awareness about impact entrepreneurship.  

Transformation: We organized 6 workshops back to back, lasting 2 and half days. Including Brief Introduction to Social Business, Team Building Activities, Lean canvas, Strategic Analysis, Financial Analysis, and How to pitch your idea/ Storytelling, giving the early stage entrepreneurs the basic skill sets and information they need in order to survive in social entrepreneurship environment.

Synopsis: Unreasonable Labs is a Business Model Validation Lab designed by the international social entrepreneurship program to provide early/idea-stage entrepreneurs with a step-by-step methodology to rapidly and systematically validate their venture’s business model in 5.5 days. Impact Hub Istanbul designed and hosted the Turkey stage of the program. 

Challenge: Our goal was to help early-stage entrepreneurs, by giving a chance to test their business model on potential users, and then integrating their business models to real markets, by this we help social enrepreneurs to mold their business models and to take the next step.

Transformation: Flow of the program included 10 workshops , a mentor day, a pitching and networking event. Participating 7 groups of entrepreneurs had to chance to structure their business models and test it on potential users through the workshops conducted in the scope of the program such as Lean Canvas Workshop, Customer Discovery Workshop, Rapid Prototyping Workshop, Customer Validation Forum, Building Powerful Relationships Workshop, Cost Assumption Workshop, Strategic Road Map Workshop. Trainings were conducted by the Impact Hub Team.
